Which should you choose: American English or British English?
Come and take part in the BCA’s intentionally light-hearted discussion/debate about words to use or not use in English. Two teams of highly qualified English language speakers, British and American, will debate and advocate for distinctly different vocabularies, pitching for either the American or British usage. Learn about British and American vocabulary differences while enjoying an entertaining evening.
Everyone’s knowledge and experience can help decide whether American English should be preferred over British English or vice versa. Come and contribute.
